Many daCharts posters who use SnagIt have not set SnagIt properly to send the smallest possible images to daCharts, resulting in chart size bloat.

After you have set Output to File, goto Output Properties

You should already have set File Format to PNG

At this point, with PNG highlighted, click on Options

Do not set Colors to True color! Set it to 256 colors(8-bit). For even smaller files I've used 16 colors(4-bit) - you can hardly tell the difference on the screen.
